It's the first Monday in October and that means it's free mini quilt pattern time - yay! This month I asked our friends at Stitches of Love Quilting to design a mini quilt for us, and aren't we lucky???

These owls are one of my favorite projects ever! Have you ever sewn something that makes you so excited that you just want to sew another and another? Well that happened to me with these owls!

You might recognize the dumpling shape of this pouch. I used my own Pochi Pouch Tutorial, but instead of quilting fabrics together I used a single layer of vinyl!

I finally got it done for you... all the testing and tweaking of a pattern to make the darling little coin pouch that we saw on Pinterest - but the photo instructions left so much to chance!

I'm packing my bags, getting ready to fly to Houston for Quilt Market and look at the new shopping bag I get to take with me (sample spree here I come)! I just finished sewing this final version and taking step by step pictures so I can share the pattern with you.
